The vineyard lies at 430 to 450 metres on clay and gravel soils over calcareous glacial deposits; it was replanted at high density in 1991 and is farmed biodynamically with Demeter certification, with sheep once again grazing between the vines.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe grapes are 100% Pinot Noir, picked by hand and fermented gently.
