Mas de Fer comes from about five hectares on the slopes of Col de Fer and San Gallo, in the Rive di Soligo, at 300-500 metres above sea level.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMade entirely from Glera, the base wine rests for at least six months in steel before a second fermentation in pressurised tank (Charmat method) lasting 30-40 days, followed by one to three months in bottle.
