Piedirosso, \"red foot\", is named after the red stalks of its bunches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hand-picked grapes ferment for about two weeks in temperature-controlled steel, and the wine matures in steel only. Brilliant ruby with violet hints, it shows ripe red fruit, flowers and herbs such as lavender, sage and thyme, and is dry, savoury and gently tannic.
