Antinori

Florence, ToscanaFounded 138512 bottles in our shop

Antinori is among the oldest family wine businesses in the world. The Florentine family joined the city's winemakers' guild in 1385 and has since passed the business down through some 26 generations, with Marchese Piero Antinori leading its modern revival and his daughters now closely involved.

From the Palazzo Antinori in Florence the family looks after estates across Tuscany and beyond, in Chianti Classico, Bolgheri, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Umbria. The company is credited with helping to shape the Super Tuscan movement, with Tignanello as its best-known flagship, blending Sangiovese with international varieties.

At WineTime you will find Tignanello IGT 2015, Chianti Classico Pèppoli and Marchese Antinori Riserva, Orvieto Classico, Conte della Vipera, and wines from the La Braccesca and Le Mortelle estates.
