About this wine

Luce is the flagship of Tenuta Luce, the Frescobaldi family's estate in Montalcino, and was the first wine made in Montalcino from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot.

It seeks harmony between the structure and elegance of Sangiovese and the roundness and softness of Merlot. The 2017 is a bright, intense ruby, with violet, fresh cherry and some mulberry; round and balanced on the palate, surprisingly bright, with very good tension.
