Tasting notes

Deep purple red. Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, dark chocolate and vanilla with hints of herbs and spice. The palate is concentrated and powerful, with velvety soft tannins and a long, warm finish.

About this wine

Gran Pasas 2022 is a concentrated Monastrell from Yecla, in south-eastern Spain, awarded gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy.

The grapes are harvested late and partly dried on the vine, then the wine matures for six months in French oak barrels. The result is an intense, complex red with aromas of ripe dark fruit, chocolate and vanilla, a powerful palate, velvety tannins and a long finish.

A generous wine for hearty meat dishes and cold winter evenings.
