Tasting notes

Apple, pear, nuts and white flowers on the nose. The palate is harmonious and fruity, with ripe yellow fruit, herbal and mineral touches and lively acidity, finishing dry, clean and well balanced.

About this wine

Weingut Krämer is a family estate in Gau-Weinheim, in Rheinhessen, led by Tobias Krämer and rated three stars by Eichelmann. The Straight line is named after the vineyard soils – Kreide & Erde means "chalk and earth" – and Grauburgunder is the German name for Pinot Gris.

The 2025 is harmonious and fruity, with apple, pear, nuts and flowers, then yellow fruit, herbal and mineral notes, lively acidity and a harmonious dry finish. It has 12% alcohol and a gold medal from Mundus Vini.

Serve at 8–10 °C with starters and poultry.
