Tasting notes

Pale yellow with green reflections. Rich and generous nose of ripe orchard fruit, citrus and toasty oak. Creamy lees texture on the palate, balanced by freshness and a long finish.

About this wine

AplauZ is 100% Chardonnay and the first wine Villa Melnik has released under the Melnik PDO. The grapes come from a carefully tended, low-yield vineyard near the village of Vinogradi and are hand-picked.

The wine ferments in oak barrels and rests for six months on its fine lees; only 994 bottles were produced. Pale yellow with green hints, with a rich, generous nose. Serve at 10–12 °C.
