Tasting notes

Pale pink colour. Delicate aromas of strawberry, raspberry and red cherry with a touch of white flowers. The palate is dry, light and fine, with gentle structure, fresh acidity from the Black Sea climate and a clean, elegant finish.

About this wine

Odessos is a winery from the Varna region on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, named after the ancient Greek name of the city. Its rosé is made from Pinot Noir – the grape that in Champagne makes the best rosé in the world – here in still form.

Pinot Noir gives a pale pink colour, strawberry, raspberry and a delicate structure, finer than rosés made from heavier varieties. The maritime climate of the coast preserves the acidity and freshness.

Serve at 8–10 °C with salads, fish or white meat.
