Tasting notes

Straw yellow. Acacia flower, eucalyptus and Williams pear on the nose, with mineral, slightly saline notes. Remarkably fresh on the palate, with lively, well-integrated acidity and a finish of white pepper and citrus peel.

About this wine

Attems Ribolla Gialla comes from vines planted in 2000 between the plain and the first slopes of the province of Gorizia, at about 60 metres, on well-drained alluvial soils rich in sand and pebbles.

In 2022 the grapes were picked by hand in mid-September. After gentle pressing, the must fermented for about 20 days at 15 °C in stainless steel, without malolactic fermentation, and the wine spent four months on its fine lees, regularly stirred. This listing is the 2022 vintage.
