Tasting notes

About this wine

A Syrah from the 2008 vintage – a red wine with more than fifteen years behind it, which is rare for a Bulgarian wine on open sale.

Sintica is a winery in the Struma Valley, near Sandanski in south-western Bulgaria. Over the years the pepper and blackberry of the young wine have evolved into leather, tobacco, dried plum and forest floor, while the tannins have become completely soft.

Open an hour before serving and pour at 16–18 °C.
