Tasting notes

Light golden colour with a lively, fine perlage. The nose shows fresh apple, citrus and a hint of brioche. The palate is crisp and fruity with a creamy mousse and fresh acidity, ending on a clean, refreshing finish.

About this wine

Cuvée Léonie bears the name of Léonie Duchêne, who founded the Champagne house Canard-Duchêne together with Victor Canard in 1868. It is the house's tribute to its origins, a Brut made for joyful, generous sharing.

This edition comes in a spectacular six-litre Methuselah, the equivalent of eight standard bottles, sealed under natural cork. With 12.5% alcohol it keeps the fresh, approachable style of the cuvée, while the large format lets the wine evolve slowly and gracefully.
