Tasting notes

Pale pink with a salmon hue. The nose is led by wild strawberry, while the palate brings citrus freshness and red forest fruits. Invigorating, fruity and juicy, with a fine mousse and a clean, refreshing finish.

About this wine

Champagne De Sousa is a family house in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, farming its vines organically and biodynamically. This rosé combines fresh Côte des Blancs Chardonnay with a little Pinot Noir from Aÿ.

The blend of 92% Chardonnay and 8% Pinot Noir ferments with wild yeasts: the Chardonnay is raised in steel vats and the Pinot Noir in oak barrels. The wine is bottled without filtration or fining and receives a low dosage of 5 g/l.

The result is a vibrant, fruit-driven rosé Champagne of real purity, perfect as an aperitif or with red fruit desserts.
