Tasting notes

Pale yellow with greenish highlights, a fine and persistent perlage and creamy mousse. Floral aromas with notes of apple and peach. The palate is fresh and harmonious, with gentle fruit and a crisp, clean finish.

About this wine

Andreola is a family winery in Farra di Soligo, founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola. Dirupo is its classic Valdobbiadene DOCG, a blend of grapes from steep hillside vineyards across the whole appellation, between 200 and 500 metres above sea level, all worked by hand.

The blend is 90% Glera with 5% each of the local Bianchetta and Perera. The base wine rests at least six months in steel before its second fermentation by the Charmat (Martinotti) method. The 375 ml half bottle is perfect for two or for a stylish aperitif.
