Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with greenish highlights and a fine, persistent bead crowned by creamy foam. The nose is floral and bright, with green apple, white peach and a touch of acacia. The palate is fresh and harmonious, the fruit carried by lively acidity, closing clean and gently savoury with a long, delicate finish.

About this wine

Andreola is a family winery in Farra di Soligo, founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola. Dirupo is its classic Valdobbiadene Superiore, blended from grapes grown across the denomination's steepest hillsides, where every row is still worked entirely by hand.

The vineyards sit between 200 and 500 metres above sea level on marl, sandstone and conglomerate soils. The base wine rests at least six months in stainless steel before a 30-40 day second fermentation by the Charmat method, followed by one to three months in bottle. Drawn as a three-litre Jeroboam, it is made for large celebrations.
