Tasting notes

Pale coppery pink with a fine bead. The nose offers dried raspberry, fresh grass, iris and violet. The palate starts dry, then grows denser and fruitier with ripe strawberry carried by a guiding acidity. The finish is floral and spicy, with peony and white pepper.

About this wine

Rosé 2008 belongs to the second chapter of the collaboration between Dom Pérignon and Lady Gaga and is presented in a collector's metal box. The house describes 2008 as an archetypal Champagne year: a grey, cloudy spring and summer followed by a brilliant September that delivered a balanced harvest.

The blend is 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir, and the wine matured for 12 years in the cellars before release.

The result is a rosé of tension and depth, floral and spicy, made for the table as much as for the collection.
