Tasting notes

Pink with subtle coppery tones and a fine perlage. The nose shows bread yeast, wild berries and hints of vanilla. The palate is fresh and well balanced, finishing on small red fruits, vanilla, bread crust and pastry. Elegant, fresh and finely balanced.

About this wine

Mirabella, the family-run Franciacorta house founded in 1979 by the Schiavi family, makes this Rosé Brut from 45% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and a small share of Pinot Bianco, from vines averaging 28 years.

The Pinot Noir macerates on its skins for 18 to 24 hours to give the wine its colour. The must ferments entirely in concrete vats, and the wine ages for at least 30 months on its lees in bottle, with a dosage of no more than 7.5 g/l.

Fresh and well balanced, it pairs red-berry fruit with pastry and vanilla notes in an elegant pink Franciacorta.
