Reichsgraf von Plettenberg Grüner Veltliner "Kies & Sand" Trocken 2025 is a rarity: Grüner Veltliner is seldom planted in Germany. It comes from the family estate in Bad Kreuznach, on the Nahe, now led by the fourth generation with oenologist Falk von Plettenberg and rated two stars by Falstaff.

Grown on gravel and sand, it shows green apple and stone fruit with fine spice on the nose, and a juicy, fresh palate with firm acidity. Dry, 12% alcohol.

Serve at 8–10 °C with fish and seafood.
