About this wine

Weingut Friedrich Kiefer is a family estate in Eichstetten, in Baden, with nearly 170 years of winemaking tradition. This rosé is made from Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) grown on the sun-soaked volcanic soils of the Kaiserstuhl – hence the name "vom Vulkan", from the volcano.

The 2025 is fruity and fresh, with aromas of soft fruit, apples and herbs, then a captivating, juicy palate of red and yellow fruit, gentle spice, balanced acidity and a round finish. It is dry, with 12% alcohol.

Serve at 8–10 °C with grilled vegetables and salads.
