Tasting notes

Bright, sparkling greenish-yellow. A hint of lemongrass before an enticing aroma of vineyard peach, then brioche and fine candied citrus peel. Rich in flavour without being heavy, with great fruit. Falstaff 93 points.

About this wine

The Hirsch family dedicates all its passion to winemaking at the 500-year-old Zehenthof in Kammern, Kamptal. Their motto is that the soil makes the wine, so they grow only Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, biodynamically.

Zöbing Riesling comes from terraced vineyards around the traditional wine village of Zöbing. It is bright greenish-yellow, with lemongrass, vineyard peach, brioche and candied citrus peel, and a flavourful, fruit-rich palate that never feels heavy.
