Tasting notes

Bright pink in the glass with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers strawberry, red currant and raspberry, with a hint of pomegranate. The palate is dry, light and crisp, with juicy red fruit and a clean, refreshing finish.

About this wine

Rosé Frizant is the lively, low-alcohol sparkling wine of Mas de Daumas Gassac, the celebrated Languedoc estate in the south of France. It is built mainly on Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate's younger vines, completed by small shares of Mourvèdre, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng and Muscat.

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in a closed tank so that the natural carbon dioxide stays in the wine, which is then matured in stainless steel to preserve its fruit.

The result is a dry, fruity and refreshing rosé with fine bubbles and just 11% alcohol, ideal for sunny aperitifs.
