Tasting notes

Deep ruby. Ripe plum, blackcurrant and cherry with herbal Cabernet Franc notes and spicy oak. Complex yet elegant, with polished tannins and a long finish.

About this wine

3 Blend is Bratanov's different answer from Sakar to the Bordeaux blend: 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 10% Rubin, fermented spontaneously with wild yeasts.

The 12-year-old vines are dry-farmed without herbicides, and since late 2021 all vineyards are in conversion to organic. Three years in oak barrels of different origin and size give a complex yet elegant wine. Serve at 16–18 °C.
