Tasting notes

Golden yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose combines ripe yellow fruit, white peach and citrus with toasted brioche, almond and subtle spice. The palate is full and generous yet precise, with a silky mousse, saline freshness and a long, savoury finish.

About this wine

Grand Vintage is the expression of a single exceptional year at Moët & Chandon, the Épernay house founded in 1743. Unlike the house's non-vintage cuvées, each Grand Vintage is a free interpretation of its harvest, chosen by the Cellar Master only when the year has a distinctive personality.

The 2015 vintage blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier from a warm, sunny growing season. After long ageing on the lees in the house's chalk cellars, it is finished with a low Extra Brut dosage that lets the character of the year speak clearly.
