Tasting notes

Intense aromas of ripe cherry, plum and dark berries with fine spice from the oak. The palate is full-bodied, round and soft, with juicy fruit, velvety tannins and a harmonious, dry finish.

About this wine

Cantina Tollo is a large cooperative winery in Tollo, in the province of Chieti, in Abruzzo, named best cooperative in Italy for seven years in a row. Its Senza Tempo – "timeless" – Montepulciano d'Abruzzo celebrates the region's king of red grapes.

The 2024 is aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels. It is full-bodied and intense, round and soft, with juicy fruit, fine spice, velvety tannins and a harmonious finish. It is dry, with 13% alcohol, and won a gold medal at the Berlin Wine Trophy.

Serve at 16–18 °C with roast meats and cold cuts.
