Crystal clear. A gentle Muscat nose with notes of rose petal, tea and acacia blossom. The palate is intensely aromatic, with Muscat and incense-like notes, a rounded, smooth texture and remarkable length of flavour. A classic aromatic Bulgarian grape rakia.

About this wine

Anhialo by Maystora is a Bulgarian grape rakia from Boyar, named after the ancient name of the Black Sea town of Pomorie. It comes in a 500 ml bottle and belongs to the aromatic, Muscat-based style of rakia that the Bulgarian coast is known for.

The rakia has a gentle Muscat aroma with notes of rose, tea and acacia. On the palate it charms with its intense Muscat and incense-like aromatics, roundness and length of flavour.

Serve chilled at 8–10 °C in the Bulgarian way, with a shopska salad and other cold starters, or neat as an aperitif.
