Tasting notes

Deep ruby. Blackcurrant, plum and cherry with vanilla, cedar and sweet spice. Medium to full body, rounded tannins and a smooth, lingering finish.

About this wine

Cuvée Rouge is Chateau Copsa's blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each variety ferments separately, then ages for 8 to 12 months in French and American barriques.

The best barrels are selected for the final blend, which then spends about six months in bottle to develop more complex secondary aromas. Serve at 16–18 °C with red meat or aged cheese.
