Tasting notes

Deep ruby. Aromas of blackberry, plum, cedar, vanilla and sweet spice. Full-bodied and polished, with rounded tannins, balanced freshness and a long finish of dark fruit and oak.

About this wine

Minkovi Brothers was founded in 1875 in Karnobat and is among the oldest working wineries in Bulgaria. Project 7 is its oak-aged red blend, a wine designed to bring several varieties together in one harmonious line.

Expect black fruit, plum, cedar, vanilla and sweet spice, with a full body and well-defined tannins that have already rounded out. A polished, ambitious red for special dinners.

Serve at 16–18 °C with roast veal, slow-cooked lamb or aged hard cheeses.
