Tasting notes

Deep ruby red with an inviting nose of ripe dark fruit. The palate is rich and juicy, with notes of plum, cherry and chocolate, a soft, smooth texture and gentle tannins leading to a warm, fruity finish.

About this wine

Marchesi del Salento Negroamaro Primitivo 2025 is a red blend from Salento, the sunny heel of Puglia, presented here in a generous 1.5 litre Magnum – ideal for dinners with friends and family celebrations.

The two great native grapes of southern Puglia give a soft, velvety wine with 13.5% alcohol. The blend has been awarded gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy and by Gilbert & Gaillard. In the glass: deep ruby red with an inviting nose of ripe dark fruit.

Serve at 16–18 °C with roast meats, grilled pork, cured meats and mature cheeses. Open the bottle about 20 minutes before serving to let the aromas unfold.
