About this wine

Cantina Tollo, from the village of Tollo in Abruzzo, has built an international reputation for quality in one of Italy's most underrated wine regions.

Lupo del Bosco – "wolf of the woods" – is its Sangiovese, the grape behind many of Italy's best-known reds. The 2025 opens with a bouquet of dark berries, followed by soft, powerful fruit, a spicy character and a consistent finish. It is dry, elegant and well balanced, with 12.5% alcohol.

Serve at 16–18 °C with hearty meat dishes.
