Tasting notes

Soft straw yellow with greenish hints and a fine perlage. Aromas of ripe citrus, wisteria, stone fruit, apple, marzipan and hay. The palate is creamy and full, with a gentle sweetness balanced by freshness and a savoury finish. The bubbles are soft and persistent, carrying the fruit to the end.

About this wine

Andreola is a family winery in Farra di Soligo, founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills. Sesto Senso is a Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore in the Dry style, made from the estate's own vineyards at 200-500 metres on marl, sandstone and conglomerate soils.

The blend is mostly Glera with small amounts of the traditional Bianchetta and Perera. The base wine rests at least six months in steel before a slow second fermentation in large pressure tanks.

Its gentle sweetness is balanced by freshness and a savoury edge, and the 1.5-litre magnum makes it a natural choice for festive tables.
