Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow. The nose offers citrus, green apple and pear with a light floral touch. The palate is light, fresh and easy, with gentle acidity and a clean, fruity finish.

About this wine

Preggio is a Sicilian white that brings together two grapes with very different personalities. Grecanico, a native variety long grown in western Sicily, gives freshness, citrus and a subtle herbal note, while Pinot Grigio adds softness, roundness and orchard fruit.

Made under the Terre Siciliane IGT designation, which covers the whole island, it is an uncomplicated, sunny and easy-drinking wine. Its light body and lively acidity make it a natural companion for summer evenings, aperitifs and simple seafood dishes.
