Tasting notes

Yellow with greenish glints. An expressive, floral nose of elderflower and nettle. The palate shows light notes of green pepper and blackcurrant, with crisp freshness and a pleasant, saline finish.

About this wine

Cantina Tramin is a cooperative winery founded in 1898 in Tramin (Termeno), South Tyrol, which today brings together around 160 grower families.

This Sauvignon from the winery's classic line comes from hillside vineyards at 350-500 metres, on limestone soils with wide differences between day and night temperatures. The grapes are hand-picked into small crates and pressed gently straight away. Fermentation and maturation take place in small stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation.

The result is a vibrant, aromatic Alto Adige white with crisp freshness and a pleasant saline touch.
