Tasting notes

Bright golden yellow. Aromas of hawthorn, acacia, cedar and yellow grapefruit with mineral and saline notes. The palate is fresh and juicy, with a citrus aftertaste and a gently floral, persistent finish.

About this wine

Produttori di Manduria is a cooperative in Manduria, Puglia, officially founded in 1932. It brings together around 400 growers, known as the "masters of Primitivo", with nearly 900 hectares of vineyards, most of them trained as traditional alberello bush vines.

Aliche is a white made from Verdeca, a native Apulian grape, from 15- to 20-year-old trellised vines. The grapes are harvested in mid-September and fermented at 18 °C, and the wine is kept in stainless steel to preserve its freshness.

Bright and savoury, with a citrus and floral profile, it is a fine expression of Salento whites.
