Tasting notes

Bright gold with fine, persistent bubbles. Aromas of ripe peach, white blossom and citrus with toasted brioche. The palate is rich and creamy, with ripe fruit, vanilla and almond lifted by fresh acidity, finishing long and elegant.

About this wine

Armand de Brignac, the Champagne known as the "Ace of Spades", is produced by the Cattier family in Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims. Its unmistakable metallised gold bottle carries a hand-applied pewter ace-of-spades emblem.

Brut Gold, the house's flagship blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from three different vintages, is presented here in a 1.5-litre magnum. The larger format ages more slowly and gracefully, preserving freshness and finesse.
