Tasting notes

Straw yellow with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers green apple, pear, citrus, acacia and wisteria, with touches of sage and spice. The palate is soft and elegant, with a light structure and lively, well-balanced acidity leading to a fresh, clean finish.

About this wine

Bottega Gold is the signature Prosecco of the Italian wine house Bottega, instantly recognisable by its golden bottle. The grapes come from the hills of the province of Treviso, reaching up to the slopes of Valdobbiadene, where wide differences between day and night temperatures favour fine, intense aromas.

The blend is based on Glera, at least 85%, completed by Chardonnay and Pinot. Fermentation is slow, around 40 days at 14 to 15 °C, and the wine then rests on its lees to gain body and structure.

Soft and elegant, it is a Prosecco made for aperitifs and celebrations.
