Tasting notes

Brilliant straw yellow with fine, very persistent bubbles. The nose is delicate and floral, with hints of white fruit and dried fruit. The palate is dry, velvety and fresh, with elegant fruit, a creamy mousse and a clean, persistent finish.

About this wine

White Gold is the Pinot Nero sparkling wine of Bottega, the Italian house known for its eye-catching metallic bottles. It comes in a glazed white-silver bottle that makes it an elegant choice for gifts and celebrations.

The wine is made entirely from Pinot Nero, hand-harvested between late August and early September from hillside vineyards at 100 to 300 metres in the Oltrepò Pavese, Lombardy, on marine sedimentary soils with fine clays. The grapes are vinified off the skins as a white wine and then turned into sparkling wine with a long Charmat method.

Dry, velvety and fresh, it is a refined alternative to classic Prosecco.
