About this wine

Antica Fratta is a historic winery in Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, whose underground galleries, carved into the rock in 1850, are among the most evocative cellars of the region.

Cuvée Real is the house's signature Brut: a blend of wines from the latest harvest and reserve wines from previous years, which rest about a year in French oak barrels and clay vessels. The grapes, 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, are gently pressed with a yield of no more than 45%, and the wine ages at least 24 months on the lees in bottle.
