About this wine

Cédric Bouchard founded Roses de Jeanne in 2000 in Celles-sur-Ource, in the Côte des Bar, and makes Champagne only from single plots, a single grape variety and a single harvest.

La Bolorée comes from a parcel of just 0.217 hectares planted with very old Pinot Blanc, a variety rarely found in Champagne. Quantities are extremely limited, which makes every bottle a true collector's piece and a fascinating expression of this little-known grape.

The 2018 shows the purity and precision for which Bouchard is admired, a grower Champagne that speaks clearly of its tiny plot of land.
