Tasting notes

Intense pink colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose recalls strawberry, rose, violet and marshmallow. On the palate red fruits mingle with pepper and liquorice, leading to a fresh, lively finish with good length.

About this wine

La Villesenière is a small family Champagne house in Boursault, in the Marne Valley, run by Laurence and Cyril. Their 4.2 hectares of Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are farmed with care for the environment, with HVE certification since 2016 and full conversion to organic farming from 2020.

This vintage rosé is made using the saignée method and was conceived above all as a Champagne for the table. Intense pink with fine bubbles, it pairs red fruit and floral notes with a peppery touch and a fresh, lively finish.
