Alexandra Estate vinifies this Chardonnay in 6-hectolitre concrete eggs by Nomblot, the vessel conceived by Marc Nomblot and Michel Chapoutier in 2001.

Concrete's fine porosity allows gentle micro-oxygenation, and its insulation keeps the temperature almost constant, giving a pure, textured white. Serve at 10–12 °C with fish, poultry or creamy dishes.
