Tasting notes

Bright gold with a very fine mousse. The nose shows ripe, concentrated fruit, white flowers, toasted brioche and a hint of spice. The palate is broad and dense, spreading across the mouth, with fine bitter notes bringing freshness and energy to a long, chiselled finish.

About this wine

Dom Pérignon makes only vintage Champagne and declares a vintage solely in years it judges worthy. The 2015 growing season was marked by one of the longest droughts in Champagne's history, so the grapes were selected with exceptional rigour and quantities were smaller than usual.

The blend is roughly half Pinot Noir and half Chardonnay, finished with a low dosage after long ageing on the lees.

The result is a broad, dense and tactile Champagne in which ripe, concentrated fruit meets a fine bitterness that brings energy, combining generosity with restraint.
