Tasting notes

Pale gold with a fine, lively bead. Ripe apple, pear, red berries, brioche and a chalky note on the nose. The palate is generous and vinous, with a creamy texture, bright acidity and a long, dry, fruity finish.

About this wine

Egly-Ouriet is one of the most respected grower estates in Champagne, based in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay on the Montagne de Reims and run by Francis Egly. The family farms its own vineyards with great care, keeps yields low and gives its wines long ageing on the lees.

Les Prémices is the entry point to the Egly-Ouriet range, a Brut blended from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that already shows the house style: ripe fruit, vinous depth and real precision.
