Tasting notes

Delicate pink with a fine perlage. Delicate aromas with lively freshness and a clearly defined red-fruit profile. The palate follows with intense, refreshing acidity, a dry Brut style (3 g/l) and a long, clean finish.

About this wine

Antica Fratta is a historic winery in Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, whose underground galleries were carved into the rock in 1850.

Essénce Rosé is a vintage Franciacorta rosé made from equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir: Pinot Noir gives aroma, Chardonnay complexity and finesse. Part of the Pinot Noir is vinified with skin maceration and part as a white wine, and fermentation takes place in steel to preserve the aromas. The wine then ages at least 30 months on the lees in bottle.

Fresh, fruity and vibrant, with a very low dosage of 3 g/l.
