Tasting notes

Brilliant light yellow colour. The nose is fresh, with citrus fruit and white flowers. The palate is light and crisp, with remarkable minerality from the basaltic soil, and finishes clean, refreshing and slightly saline.

About this wine

Evaso is a white wine from Canoso, a Veneto winery whose vineyards sit on the volcanic hill of Cà del Vento, east of Verona. The family has been in the wine trade since 1876 and began bottling in 1990, embracing an environmentally sustainable approach.

The blend brings together Garganega, Manzoni and Trebbiano grown on basaltic soils, which give the wine its distinctive mineral edge. It is brilliant light yellow, fresh and light, with citrus and floral tones.
