Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow. The nose shows white flowers, lemon zest and green apple with a mineral touch. The palate is fresh and clean, with citrus and apple fruit, lively acidity and a savoury, persistent finish.

About this wine

Feudo Disisa is a historic estate between the Belice and Jato valleys in western Sicily, owned by the Di Lorenzo family for almost two centuries. Several of its wines are inspired by the stories of the estate, including a legend of treasure hidden in its old mansion.

Lu Bancu is a pure Catarratto, Sicily's most widely planted native white grape, from vines around ten years old. It is vinified without any contact with oak, to preserve the purity of the fruit and the variety's natural freshness.

Floral, citrusy and mineral, it is an authentic, unoaked expression of Sicilian Catarratto.
