Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden highlights and a fine perlage. The nose offers fresh bread, yeast, apricot and peach with spring wildflowers and citrus. The palate is dry and clean, with precise acidity, a creamy texture and a long finish. Pure and precise.

About this wine

Mirabella, the family-run Franciacorta house founded in 1979 and led by the Schiavi family, farms about 45 hectares of organic vineyards in Lombardy. Demetra Millesimato is its vintage Brut Nature from 2020.

The blend is 70% Chardonnay with Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco. Twenty percent of the must ferments in used oak barrels and the rest in concrete vats. The wine then ages at least five years on its lees in bottle and is released with no added dosage.

Bone-dry, clean and complex, it is a pure, precise expression of Franciacorta.
