Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose is elegant and intense, with honey, banana, bread yeast and subtle vanilla. The palate is dense, with a velvety mousse and a hint of roundness, ending in a generous, lingering finish of tropical fruit, honey and flowers.

About this wine

Mirabella, the family-run Franciacorta house founded in 1979, makes its Satèn Millesimato exclusively from Chardonnay grown on vines averaging 28 years, using only wine from the 2021 harvest.

About 15% of the free-run must ferments in used oak barrels and the rest in concrete vats. The wine ages for at least 36 months on its lees in bottle and is finished as a Brut with no more than 7 g/l dosage. As a Satèn, it has a softer, silkier mousse.

Dense, elegant and generous, it is a refined Franciacorta for the table.
