Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden glints and a fine, velvety perlage. The nose offers honey, banana, bread yeast and vanilla. The palate is creamy and fresh, with a long finish of tropical fruit and floral notes.

About this wine

This magnum comes from Mirabella, a family winery in Rodengo Saiano led by oenologist Teresio Schiavi and his sons. The Satèn is a millesimato, made only from wines of the 2021 harvest, and has been produced since 1996.

It is pure Chardonnay from the estate's own vineyards at Passirano and Paderno Franciacorta, fermented 90% in concrete and 10% in barrique and then aged on the lees for at least 30 months, finishing as a Brut with less than 6 grams per litre of sugar.

The large bottle lets the wine mature slowly and keep its freshness, making it ideal for celebrations.
