Tasting notes

Very pale pink with grey reflections. Aromas of small red berries. A slight spritz refreshes the fruit on the palate, leading to a fresh, mineral finish.

About this wine

Gris Blanc is a rosé by Gérard Bertrand from vineyards located mainly around Tautavel in Roussillon, in the south of France.

The grapes, Grenache Gris and Grenache Noir, are hand-harvested and pressed directly, and the whole process takes place under carbon dioxide protection to preserve the delicate aromas of Grenache. Fermentation starts at low temperature, after which the wine rests for a few weeks on its fine lees.

The result is a very pale, crisp and mineral rosé with a subtle prickle that lifts the fruit, perfect for summer tables and spicy cuisine.
