Tasting notes

Pale pink with copper reflections. The nose offers peach, melon and blackberry with light earthy hints. The palate is round and fresh, with lively acidity balancing the ripe fruit and a clean, dry finish that makes it very versatile at the table.

About this wine

Sun Goddess is a line of wines created from the Fantinel family's vineyards in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Ramato is a style of Pinot Grigio typical of the region, in which brief contact between the must and the grape skins gives the wine its delicate copper-pink colour.

The grapes come from vineyards in Tauriano di Spilimbergo. After a short cold maceration on the skins, the wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving its fresh fruit and round, easy-going texture.
